Surakarta – The Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FEB UMS), proudly held the Entrepreneurship and Creative Economy Expo titled “PANORAMMA 2024: Innovation and Design Market of Management Students” from June 12-15, 2024. This expo featured 100 innovative products and booths from students, highlighting their creativity and skills in the fields of entrepreneurship and the creative economy.
The opening ceremony on June 12, 2024, was festive, attended and officially opened by Prof. Ihwan Susila, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice Rector III of UMS. Also present were Prof. Anton Agus Setyawan, S.E., M.Si., Dean of FEB UMS, Nur Achmad, S.E., M.Si., Head of the Management Laboratory, and Maliyana Nur Wijayanti, S.Pd., M.M., Entrepreneurship Lecturer.
This expo served as an important platform for students to showcase their innovations to a broader audience, encompassing various fields such as food and beverages, fashion, and technology. The event aimed to hone students’ entrepreneurial skills and provide an opportunity to market their creative ideas.
Several innovative products received awards at the expo. The first prize was won by Cekerun.ID, which introduced a chicken claw-based food innovation with modern packaging. The second prize went to EATFOOD.SOC, which offered a concept of healthy and practical food suited to modern lifestyles. The third prize was awarded to KEKINI, an eco-friendly fashion platform. Meanwhile, the favorite prize went to SUSHE.ID, which creatively combined sushi with unique local touches.
The “PANORAMMA 2024” expo demonstrated the commitment of the Management Study Program at FEB UMS to support the development of students’ entrepreneurial potential. It is hoped that through this event, students will be increasingly motivated to continue innovating and making real contributions to the business and creative economy sectors.
The event concluded with great enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on all participants and visitors. The entrepreneurial spirit shown by the students is expected to inspire other young people to dare to innovate and take an active role in the nation’s economic development.
