The Management Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (FEB UMS), participated in the CPL Workshop and International Benchmarking at Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM) together with APSMA PTMA.

The Management Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (FEB UMS), reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the quality of education by participating in the CPL (Learning Outcome Achievement) Workshop and International Benchmarking at Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM) on January 11-12, 2024.

The event was attended by Dr. Rini Kuswati, S.E., M.Si., CMA, as the Head of the Program, and Dr. Edy Purwo Saputro, S.E., M.Si., as the Secretary of the Program, representing the Management Program at UMS. This workshop served as an important forum for discussing CPL, covering skills, attitudes, and values essential to help students face future challenges.

More than 25 representatives from Management Programs across Indonesia participated in this two-day workshop. It began with remarks from Dr. Nur Subeki, MT, the Vice Rector III of UMM, emphasizing the importance of CPL as a reflection of holistic educational outcomes. He also expressed appreciation for the commitment of Management Programs in Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA) in ensuring curriculum quality.

Dr. Nurul Asfiah, M.M., as the Chairperson of APSMA and the Head of the Management Program at FEB UMM, initiated this event by inviting three competent speakers: Prof. Dr. M. Syaifuudin, M.M. (Head of the Learning Innovation Institute at UMM), Sri Gunawan, DBA (Chairperson of the Indonesian Management Forum), and Dr. Naelawati, Tubastuvi, M.Si (LAMEMBA Assessor and Dean of FEB UMP).

During the final session, Dr. Naelawati, Tubastuvi, M.Si provided a sharing session on aspects to be considered in the accreditation process. The participants’ enthusiasm was evident from the numerous questions raised, indicating a strong desire to achieve and maintain excellent accreditation from LAMEMBA.

It is expected that this CPL Workshop and International Benchmarking will serve as a significant milestone in the development of Management Programs in PTMA, creating quality-based OBE (Outcome-Based Education) CPL and strengthening the position of the Management Program at UMS nationally.
